Remember when we were kids and life was perfect? « Thread Started on Jan 6, 2007, 11:38am »
Don't you remember when life was perfect, when you were five, how you always got what you wanted, everything?
Oh how Paige missed those days. --
A petite, hyper girl stepped into the ice cream parlor, with a rather broad grin on her face. It was a normal day for her, just like any other day, where she was just treating herself to an ice cream sundae. Bobbing her head softly from side-to-side, the happy redhead now skipped to the counter, leaning over to the cashier just barely closely. "Rawr, one ice cream sundae please!" She ordered, adding a grin, holding her index finger up. The cashier nodded as the crazy Paige backed off a bit, eyeing around the parlor closely. Not much, just the usual screaming and giggling kids, their parents hushing them. Her eyes focused back to the cashier, now pulling out five dollars. He handed her a bowl of her order, as Paige grinned before walking off to a table.
Balencing the sundae in one hand, the girl pulled up her pair of skinny jeans, which didn't seem to cooperate with her. She shrugged it off, now holding the sundae in both of her hands. A coral tank top covered her torso, underneath a black shirt, with a picture of a unicorn. Haha. On her feet were a pair of checkered slip-on Vans, simple.
As the girl made her way towards her favorite spot, she just happened to miss a 'Caution: WET FLOOR' sign, as the innocent sixteen year old slipped, the ice cream soaking her clothes, especially her jeans. Getting to the point where she was actually sitting up, Paige only laughed, running her sticky hand through her hair as if nothing happened. "Ew."

Ethan had already been sitting in the back corner of the parlor. He'd been there for a few minutes now and would be there until he finished his ice cream, that could take awhile. He had ordered the Triple Vanilla-Choco Supreme with Sprinkles! The bowl of ice cream was piled up rather high. The bottom half was vanilla ice cream covered in Chocolate Syrup, the top half was vanilla ice cream covered in sprinkles.
Ethan took his plastic spoon and took yet another bite from the large ice cream. It was cold, but he was used to it. He swallowed the ice cream and went in for another bite. He hadn't noticed the red headed female known as Paige come in, or even fall.
Ethan was wearing a pair of black jeans and a black hoodie with Jack Skellington on it. The hoodie was zippered up, he had forgotten to wear a shirt underneath, and since he wasn't in the greatest shape he left it fully zippered up.

The girl collected herself, now to the position where she was standing up. Walking a bit calmly, ignoring the stares of the little children and muffles of laughter coming from the cashier, Paige proudly lifted her chin up, as if she accomplished something. As she walked towards the napkin area, the girl lost balence again, now slipping in front of a boy she'd never seen, wearing some sort of Jack Skellington shirt.
The Night Before Christmas, is what Paige recognized it as, or whatever other movie it might have been. Now placing her hand a good distance away from him, but still on the table he was at, Paige got herself up, now looking around. The people had returned to their own business, thankfully. "Sorry, I just slipped and then I slipped again before, because I got my ice cream sundae and then, I didn't see a wet floor sign, so then I slipped over that, and then I went and was trying to get napkins, and then- yeah. Haha, anyways, sorry," The girl blabbered on, then added a soft chuckle.
"I'm Paige, by the way. Haha, one of the clumsiest people you might ever meet! Yeah, sorry again," The girl apologized, adding a slight laughter and grin.

Ethan blinked a bit as he looked over at the girl who had just introduced herself as Paige. He found it strange that she would just suddenly talk to him and introduce herself after tripping next to his table.
"Um...Hi. I'm Ethan?" He said, he wasn't really sure what to say to this new girl, Paige. He simply turned back to his ice cream and took another bite, covered in sprinkles. However he accidentally placed his too front teeth into the ice cream. His teeth were very sensitive too.
"Ah! Dammit!" Ethan said as he quickly swallowed the ice cream and ran his tongue over his front teeth to warm them up in a rather un-orthodoxed manner. He removed his glasses for a moment to rub his eyes. He would then run a hand through his hand through his hair before placing his glasses back on. Of course Ethan's hair would return to its natural position.

A petite hand pushed the door to the ice cream palor open and in walked Adrienna. Taking a look around the not so big of a crowded palor she made her way to the counter getting herself a Chocolate Sundae; ice cream topped with brownie pieces, hot fudge, whipped cream then drizzled with chocolate syrup. Yumm. After ordering a recieving her treat, Adrienna payed the man behind the counter and turned in a fancy matter on her heel, eyes scanning the place for a place to sit.
The sixteen year old wore a pair of black vans with little white skulls cluttered over them. Her still rather tanned legs showing from the blue polka dotted skirt that reached just the top of her knees. The white shirt that hugged her chest brought out the white polka dots and the white bow that accompanied her black hair. Her make-up thick. Eyeliner rimming around her brown eyes and eyeshadow hovering upon her eyelids. A small case of lipgloss added on her lips.

Paige looked down at herself, now finding her sitting in the seat across from him. "Haha, well. Nice to meet you Ethan," She said, with a soft nod. "Yeah, you probably think I'm retarded or something right now, blabbering and rambling on and on, and stuff," The girl explained, shrugging and smiling, then adding a chuckle. It was a habit, rambling on and on, then laughing alot. But that was Paige, of course.
"Are you okay?" The girl asked cautiously, slightly wide eyed. She blinked, now rubbing her right thumb across the back of her left hand, getting her hand even stickier. "So.. are you new here?" Paige questioned, smirking a bit. Now looking around the store, she blinked, seeing a girl come in and then standing. Paige gave a wave, seeing as she was always the social type. Social, yet with a crazy, weird touch. [:

"Nah, you're not retarded. Everybody has there quirks." Ethan said taking yet another bite of ice cream.
"Yeah, I'm fine, cold things just bother my teeth, a lot. It doesn't help when I bite right into ice cream either." Ethan said taking another bite, being careful this time. He would be eating this ice cream for awhile. He'd be lucky if it didn't turn into ice cream soup soon. "Yeah I'm new around here. Moved in about a week ago." Ethan said adding a small yawn.
Ethan noticed the girl come in but didn't wave or anything. He was the opposite of Paige sort of. He wasn't very social, but then again, he had his reasons.

Adrienna blinked looking over her shoulder as the other female sent a wave her way. Not sure to wave back to the girl or not she bit her lower lip grinning foolishly and waved back softly. Taking slow strides to the boy and girl she wasn't too fimilar with but seen them around the school. She smiled softly, "Hi." She said shyly.

"Thanks," The girl said, with a chuckle, wiping away the ice cream spot across her cheek. "Ahh, okay, haha. Same thing happens to me all the time," She explained, then smiled and laughed softly. Paige nodded, tucking loose, red strands behind her ear. "Well, welcome to Fro-I mean, Foggy Hollow. Pretty awesome place to live," Paige said, with a smile.
She smiled back, then tapped her index finger softly, keeping her busy with herself. "Hola, I'm Paige," The girl greeted, waving softly again, adding a smile.

"Yeah...It's annoying. I hate having sensitive teeth." Ethan sighed a bit before cracking his knuckles. He would then lock his hands together and bend his arms in a series of motions until the went over his head and behind his back without breaking his grasp. He would wait a moment before doing a different series of motions to bring them back over his head, still without breaking his grasp.
"That feels good...Also thanks for the welcome. Foggy Hollow...what a strange name. Makes me think of Sleepy Hollow." Ethan said with a smirk.

"Me too," Paige agreed, slightly nodding. "Haha, I remember this one time when it was really, really hot in summer, so then I got a bucket of ice and carried it outside with me, and I popped a ice cube into my mouth and I bit into it, partially, and it broke, and my teeth somehow became numb," The girl explained, nodding, before going silent as Ethan was... doing something, as Paige reffered to it. The girl raised a brow, before shrugging it of.
"Haha, okay... And you're welcome," Paige said, blinking a bit. "Haha, Sleepy Hollow. You like to sleep, I'm guessing?" She guessed, adding a muffled giggle.

Ethan blinked at Paige a bit. "No, Sleepy Hollow as in Ichabod Crane, the Headless Horsemen, etc. You've never heard of the story?" Ethan asked her slightly dumfounded.
He quickly sped up in the eating of his ice cream, not but a moment later was it down to the part covered in chocolate. He leaned back a bit and took a break from eating. The sudden quickness of it gave him an ice cream headache.

The girl blinked, blank-mindedly, then giggled and smirked, "Ohh, of course I knew that...," She said, her voice fading off. "What's that?" She asked, blinking her eyes, really having no idea what he just said.
She giggled, watching as he ate quickly, before he leaned back. "Oooh. Brain-freeeeeeeze?" The girl asked, smirking. Paige reached over and poked him, then giggling with amusement.
